Solid Bottom Cable Tray with cover is generally used for minimal heat generating electrical or telecommunication applications with short to intermediate support span 5 – 12 feet.

However, the primary purpose for choosing solid-bottom trays is a situation for electromagnetic/ radio-frequency interference protection.

Some engineers and designers specify a solid bottom cable trays (often with a cover) so as to provide solid side rail protection and system strength with smooth radius fitting. It also provides maximum strength for long-span application.

Whereas these solid bottom trays often come in:

  • Standard Widths of 50 – 600 mm.
  • Standard Height of 25 – 100 mm.
  • Standard Tray Collar of 15 – 25 mm.
  • Standard Tray Thickness of 1.6 – 3.00 mm.
