Delhi-Meerut RRTS Corridor
IES is a key infrastructure partner for the Delhi-Meerut RRTS, India's inaugural Regional Rapid Transit System. Working alongside L&T Construction, we are supplying the critical electrical supports for this high-speed rail corridor that redefines urban mobility in the NCR.
The Challenge
The high-speed rail environment introduces unique aerodynamic pressures and vibration stresses. For underground segments, the safety brief required fire-certified cable management systems that could maintain structural integrity during emergency evacuation scenarios, alongside strict dimensional tolerances for tunnel clearance.
Our Solution
We provided E90 fire-rated cable trays, rigorously tested to maintain integrity for 90 minutes under direct flame exposure. To mitigate track-side vibrations, our engineering team designed custom brackets with dampening mounts. We also supplied aerodynamic tray covers for tunnel sections to minimize air resistance caused by high-speed train movement.
