NTPC Super Thermal Power
India Electricals Syndicate (IES) successfully engineered and supplied a massive cable management infrastructure for NTPC's 3000 MW super thermal power landmark in Kaniha. As a critical node in India's eastern power grid, the project demanded a vendor capable of handling large-scale industrial logistics and stringent utility specifications.
The Challenge
The operational environment at Kaniha presented significant thermal and chemical stresses. We were tasked with supplying cable trays that could survive extreme temperatures near boiler turbines while resisting industrial oxidation. Furthermore, the project required a zero-margin-for-error adherence to PGCIL and NTPC quality protocols, necessitating a specialized metallurgical approach.
Our Solution
IES deployed its premium line of heavy-duty, hot-dip galvanized (HDG) perforated cable trays with a high-micron Z350 coating. Our engineering team custom-fabricated complex bends and reducers to navigate the intricate structural landscape of the power plant. Every consignment was backed by NABL-accredited metallurgical testing, ensuring lifelong reliability for NTPC's critical power circuits.
