Rewa Ultra Mega Solar
IES was a foundational supplier for the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Park (750 MW), providing the structural backbone for one of the world's largest single-site solar installations. This project marks a significant milestone in India's transition to renewable energy.
The Challenge
The vast, undulating desert terrain of Rewa required module mounting structures (MMS) that could be quickly adapted to varying pile heights while maintaining perfect solar alignment. Furthermore, the structures needed to withstand peak wind gusts of up to 170 km/h as per revised Indian wind load standards.
Our Solution
We deployed a high-precision fabrication line for C-channel rafters and purlins, using automated punching to ensure millimetre accuracy for module mounting. IES supplied heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized steel with optimized hole patterns that allowed for rapid field assembly, significantly accelerating the EPC timeline.
