Cable Tray Support Systems
Cantilever brackets, threaded rods, and overhead supports.
Cable Tray Support Systems — Overview
India Electricals Syndicate manufactures the full cable tray support system at Howrah — cantilever brackets, slotted C-channel and strut, threaded rods in M8, M10 and M12, wall brackets, ceiling-suspended hangers and floor-mount frames. Correctly engineered supports are what let a tray run carry its rated load at the design span; IES sizes the support to the loaded tray, not the other way round.
Brackets and channels are press-formed and welded from certified steel, slotted for field adjustment, and hot-dip galvanized to IS:2629 so the support life matches the galvanized tray it carries. Standard and heavy-duty cantilever arms are available with published safe working loads to suit single- and multi-tier tray stacks.
Support hardware is supplied finish-matched to the project trays with mill test certificates and inspection records. Share your tray loading and support-centre schedule with a quote request and the Howrah engineering desk will return a load-rated support proposal.

What specifiers say about IES cable tray supports
“IES has been our specified cable tray and earthing vendor across multiple thermal projects. Documentation, MTC, and dispatch discipline have been consistent over years of supply.”
“Hot-dip galvanizing micron consistency and IS 12352 conformance on every batch — that's what we rely on for corrosive coastal sites. Lead times from Howrah are predictable.”
“For solar mounting structures across our 50 MW deployment, IES held the galvanizing spec across 30,000+ pieces. Quality dispute count: zero. That tells the story.”
