Earthing Strip & Rod System — Overview

India Electricals Syndicate manufactures complete earthing and grounding systems at Howrah — copper-bonded earth rods, GI earth strips and flats, clamps, and the accessories that tie a grounding network together. A correctly engineered earth system carries fault and lightning current safely to ground and holds touch and step potentials within limits; IES builds and tests each element to the relevant Indian and IEC standards.

The system is manufactured and routine-tested to IS:3043 and IEC 62561, with NABL-accredited test certificates available for tender and inspection submissions.
