Ground-Mount Solar MMS
Utility-scale module mounting structures engineered for 25-year service life.
Ground-Mount Solar MMS — Overview
India Electricals Syndicate engineers utility-scale ground-mount solar module mounting structures at Howrah, designed for a 25-year operating life. A solar MMS holds the array at the design tilt against site wind and the structure, not the module, governs plant survival in a storm — so IES analyses each structure rather than supplying a generic frame.
Structures are designed using STAAD.Pro structural analysis for wind speeds up to 180 km/h per IS:875, with foundation reactions and member sizes issued for the specific site terrain category and module layout. All structural members are hot-dip galvanized to a minimum 85 microns for the full plant life in open-field exposure.
Each structure package includes stamped design calculations, GA drawings and galvanizing records for lender and EPC review. Share your module type, site wind zone and plant capacity with a quote request and the Howrah engineering desk will return a designed MMS offer.
