Structural Steel Fabrication
Heavy-duty structural steel fabrications to client drawings.
Structural Steel Fabrication — Overview
India Electricals Syndicate undertakes custom structural steel fabrication at Howrah — columns, beams, trusses, portal frames and platework manufactured to client-supplied drawings. Fabricated steelwork is only as reliable as its material traceability and weld control; IES maintains a documented chain from certified raw material through cutting, drilling and welding to final inspection.
Every member is traceable from IS:2062 certified raw steel through CNC profile cutting and drilling to qualified welding, so heat numbers and weld procedures can be reconciled against the project quality plan. Connections are fabricated to the design drawings with fit-up checked before final welding to hold dimensional tolerance on assembled frames.
Finished fabrications can be supplied bare, primed or hot-dip galvanized, with mill test certificates, weld and dimensional reports on despatch. Send your GA and connection drawings with a quote request and the Howrah works will return a fabricated offer.

What specifiers say about IES structural steel fabrication
“IES has been our specified cable tray and earthing vendor across multiple thermal projects. Documentation, MTC, and dispatch discipline have been consistent over years of supply.”
“Hot-dip galvanizing micron consistency and IS 12352 conformance on every batch — that's what we rely on for corrosive coastal sites. Lead times from Howrah are predictable.”
“For solar mounting structures across our 50 MW deployment, IES held the galvanizing spec across 30,000+ pieces. Quality dispute count: zero. That tells the story.”
