Substation Gantry Structures
Equipment support and bus-bar gantries for AIS substations.
Substation Gantry Structures — Overview
India Electricals Syndicate fabricates hot-dip galvanized substation structures at Howrah — equipment support frames for CT, PT, CB and lightning arresters, bus-bar gantries, take-off gantries and lighting masts for 33 kV to 400 kV air-insulated substations. These structures set the electrical clearances and carry switchgear and conductor loads for the substation’s life, so dimensional accuracy and galvanizing are inspected to utility standards.
Structures are fabricated from IS:2062 steel to the substation layout and equipment GA, with bolt-hole positions held to the equipment footprint so switchgear mounts without site modification. All members are hot-dip galvanized for the outdoor design life and proof-checked for fit before despatch.
Each structure carries mill certificates, galvanizing records and erection drawings for utility inspection. Send your substation layout and equipment schedule with a quote request and the Howrah engineering desk will return a fabricated structure offer.
